Any way to list files and directories together in Project view?

Any way to list files and directories together in Project view?

I use RubyMine on Mac, and one thing I can't get used to is that files and directories in a same directory are listed separately in Project view, directories first and files next each sorted by name.
I understand this is a standard way on Windows but it is very hard to navigate for a long-time Mac user like me. In Finder, Xcode and other apps on Mac, directories and files are usually not listed separately.

Also, it is easier to navigate when Ruby's module has some classes organized in separate files:

  • a/
  • c/
  • foo/
    • bar.rb (class Foo::Bar)
    • baz.rb (class Foo::Baz)
  • .....
  • w/
  • y/
  • b.rb
  • d.rb
  • .....
  • foo.rb (module Foo)
  • x.rb
  • z.rb

  • a/
  • b.rb
  • c/
  • d.rb
  • ....
  • foo/
    • bar.rb (class Foo::Bar)
    • baz.rb (class Foo::Baz)
  • foo.rb (module Foo)
  • ....
  • w/
  • x.rb
  • y/
  • z.rb

If you could tell me how to customize the sort, I'd appreciate it.
