git and migrations in RubyMine4

Using the latest EAP I find that RubyMine doesn't pick up any migrations I create at the command line as files to add to git - I have to run git add at the command line as well.

Which OS are you using?

I've tried this on my Ubuntu system and it's worked quite happily; my Windows box is out of action at the moment, so I can't try it on that right now.

ubuntu 11.10 in a VM

I can't see the VM making much of a difference.

Just a thought: are you running the command line tasks external from RubyMine - in a terminal window for example - whilst RubyMine is running?

Problem solved, I think.

I had inadvertantly created the git repository at one directory level higher than the project I was running. Rubymine gave a warning and an option to fix - now all seems OK.
