Rubymine sometimes doesn't respond to commands

Hello,

I was asked to start a discussion here regarding the performance of Rubymine.
First let me say that I really enjoy working with the IDE, it has everything I need/want during Ruby development and it's so easy to get things done with it.

What I want to mention/discuss, is that sometimes Rubymine does not seem to be responding to commands.
The latest example was trying to open my controller for adding new code. I double clicked the file, hit enter, tried the shortcuts and the menu, but the file would simply not be opened by Rubymine.
After restarting Rubymine the file was opened, but Rubymine did report that it encountered a problem.
On a side note, I had the internal WebRick server running in Debug at that time.

Perhaps it's a bug that sometimes occurs, but it was nothing major that prevents me from doing my work.

Hello Arne De Herdt,

Could you please describe your environment? OS, Java version?

Oh sure,

I'm running on Windows 7 Professional with a Standard JRE installation.
The system is a Dell Latitude E6510 Quad Core i7.

It's been several hours now since I encountered this problem, perhaps it was a hiccup in the system or something.

Feel free to create an issue and attach threaddumps after yet another hiccup. Instructions are here: http://devnet.jetbrains.net/docs/DOC-1144
Also we are aware of some possible reasons of them, and working hard to fix them in next RubyMine major version.

Regards,
Oleg
