java plugin for RubyMine?

RubyMine doesn't and won't have any Java plugin. In you need both Ruby and Java codeinsight support, please use IntelliJ IDEA with Ruby plugin.

You can configure basic syntax highlighting of Java by defining it as a custom
file type in Settings | File Types.

Mainly I am a RoR (JRuby) developer, but once in a while need to do
some basic Java.  Is there any way to have Java code highlighting in
my RubyMine?

actually for my use case IntelliJ Community edition worked perfectly fine.

btw, I recently switched from Eclipse and so far I am pretty happy using your IDEs. Takes some time to get used to but overall great experience. Thank you for your great products!
