Unable to delete read only files(images)

Permanently deleted user

I had an automation script doing screen captures. The script was placing these images into my main folder. My syntax was incorrect and it would create files in the format /tmp/cowsfly.png.

I deleted these files from my file system.

Now these files still appear in Rubymine under my main folder. I have tried everything to delete or remove them. I get an error stating failed to change the read only flag for file XXXX.

Is there a mechanism to remove these files other than deleting the project and starting over?

Hello Carl,

File | Invalidate Caches and restarting RubyMine should help.
