Is the Debugger meant to work in 96.552?

Hi,

I haven't had any success getting the debugger to work with any of the recent EAPs and the latest is no exception.

It does show some promise:

Fast Debugger (ruby-debug-ide 0.4.9) listens on :36483

But then dies shortly afterwards:

    /home/stephen/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.8.7-p249/gems/ruby-debug-ide-0.4.9/lib/ruby-debug-ide.rb:109:in `debug_load'
    /home/stephen/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.8.7-p249/gems/ruby-debug-ide-0.4.9/lib/ruby-debug-ide.rb:109:in `debug_program'
    /home/stephen/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.8.7-p249/gems/ruby-debug-ide-0.4.9/bin/rdebug-ide:87
    /home/stephen/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.8.7-p249/bin/rdebug-ide:19:in `load'
    /home/stephen/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.8.7-p249/bin/rdebug-ide:19
    -e:1:in `load'
    -e:1
Uncaught exception: uninitialized constant Debugger::CommandProcessor

Process finished with exit code 0

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Oops, sorry it was nothing to do with Rubymine.

It seems that I had a conflict between the ruby-debug and ruby-debug-ide gems, which were both installed.

After un-installing the ruby-debug gem it now works perfectly, oh how I have missed thee visual debugger...

Yes, it is desired to uninstall ruby-debug gem.

After all I think we should definitely check whether both of this gems are installed and warn users about possible problems and give a workaround.

Best regards,
Oleg
