Using Mac or Textmate Keymaps on Windows

My day job now requires me to use a windows box, but I'm still looking for the Meta key on Windows using either the Mac OS X or Textmate keymaps.  Neither the ESC or WIN keys are working as expected.

Any ideas?

So, was this a stupid question or just something unsupported? Does anyone else care about this feature?

Would it be possible to add a the Win key code as the meta key on the windows platform?

Cheers,
Kevin

I have the same concern.  The Run button in RubyMine displays a tip to press Meta+R to access the Run function.

Please change so that RubyMine uses Windows keystrokes or identify how to access the Meta key on Windows machines.

Hello Dennis,

The default RubyMine keymap uses Windows keystrokes. TextMate is a Mac application,
and obviously the TextMate-compatible keymap in RubyMine has to use Mac keystrokes.
The TextMate keymap wasn't designed to be used on Windows.

So, can we add a feature request to intercept the WIN key as the Command meta key?  I've seen someone mention that Emacs on Windows will use the WIN key in addition to ESC, and I can't believe it is that diffiicult to implement.  This would be incredibly useful to any Mac users having to use Windows for development.

Thanks,
Kevin
