Ways to prolong battery lifetime

I'm about to head off on a trip where I'll have limited access to mains power. As such I am wondering if there are settings I can tweak on RubyMine in order to reduce its drain on the battery. I guess that principally means reducing disk accesses and CPU usage.

As an example, I don't particularly use the smart completion facility. So I'm wondering if I can turn it and the background source file indexing off.

What other settings might help?

thanks in advance for any suggestions,
mick

You can turn off all (or some) inspections in RM | File | Settings | Inspections. We are going to implemented some "airplane mode" in future RubyMine versions. Honestly at current moment the easiest way is to find power socket or use some simple text editor.
