Is there a way not to show the .idea directory?

Hi,

A minor problem: In the Projects window I have the "Project" view selected. This shows the actual directory structure. It also shows the ".idea" directory. Is there any way to get the IDE to not display this directory? It is, after all, maked as hidden (I'm using Linux), which means it shouldn't add to the visual clutter. (Along those lines, my ".git" directory is not displayed, which is nice.)

I know I could switch to the "Rails" view, but that replaces the actual directory structure with a higher-level one, e.g. the folders are marked as "Controllers", "Models", "Test::Unit", etc. I prefer the "real" view, but with the ability to not display hidden folders and files.

Thanks,
Larry

Feel free to vote and watch to get notification once it's fixed.
