Everything should be keyboard accessible

One thing I really like about Idea is that *almost* everything is keyboard accessible. This includes the side panes, buttons, menu items, etc.

However, it seems that Idea 8 & Rubymine have regressed in this area, which makes it much less pleasurable to use.

For example, the keyboard integration for the new test/spec runner is almost nonexistent.

In Idea 7, I got the text output, which is good enough for me. I was able to scroll through the results with the keyboard and able to follow stack trace links with the keyboard. With the new version of Idea, neither really works well.

Also, the new graphical debugger has similar shortcut issues. I used to be able to use the console debugger in idea's console window. I loved it because it was fast and ubiquitous.

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,

This has been fixed and will be available in next RubyMine and Ruby Plugin EAP

test/spec is supported for rake tasks. This initial support will be improved soon. See my comments for the issue http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/RUBY-2321

What shortcuts are missed? Please report us details and we will fix it
