try to begin with android support plugin, does not compile

Hello
I'm starting with android developments, and decided to try the bundled android support plugin in IntelliJ 11.1.4 on my MacOsX 10.6.8 64 bits.
I downloaded the sdk from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html and activated the plugin (which description does not say what version it is).
I created a new android application, letting the plugin create the source. Then I found some problems :
- the source code created has 2 errors in the main activity java file :
  public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState)
  {
    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.main);
  }
1) R is not included (so I included with the import helper) : import android.R;
2) main is not defined in R.layout

- when I compile the project (putting eventually this line in comment), the log says :
I/O error: Cannot run program "/Applications/softdev/adt-bundle-mac-x86_64-20130522/sdk/platforms/android-17/tools/aapt": error=2, No such file or directory

It seems that My sdk is not conform to what intellij expects.
I had a look at the tutorial : http://developer.android.com/training/basics/firstapp/index.html but could not find any help because it is for eclipse.

Thanks for any help, and eventually a tutorial on intellij

The structure of the Android SDK changes from time to time, and we aren't updating old version of IntelliJ IDEA to match the structure of the newest SDK version. Please consider using IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition 12.1 instead of 11.1.

Thanks for the answer

I cannot ask for a license renew now, I'll try the command line.
Hoping to be up to date very soon!

IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition is open-source, you don't need any license to use it.

Thanks
I have a personal license v11 because my project is commercial and non open-source. But I may try v12 as community edition.
Is there any conflict having v11 ultimate & v12 community on the same macosx ?

IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition can be used for any kind of projects, not just for open-source development; you can use it freely if you don't need any features that are only available in IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate.

Different major version of IntelliJ IDEA can be freely installed side-by-side without interfering with one another.

In general I need Resin, javaEE, Php, which are only on ultimate version. Moreover the page http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/buy/license-matrix.jsp tells that open source license is only for open source projets, I thought community edition was only available on open source license.

Please could you tell me
1) which license is available for which edition ? (I'm a bit lost). It is not explicitely written on http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/buy/
2) what would be the price to renew my v11 personal edition bought in February 2012.

Thanks.

1) IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition is free and open-source. It's available under the Apache 2 license. It's not listed on the Buy page because it's free - there's nothing to buy.
2) A personal license renewal costs 99 USD or 89 EUR.
