Find all versions of IntelliJ installed

Is there a command-line way to know all the versions of IntelliJ IDE installed in a machine? (Both Ultimate and Community editions)

This is not possible in general. On Linux, IntelliJ IDEA can be installed in any directory, and there is no way to locate the user's installation.

The default paths to the Settings directories are documented here: https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/206827437-Directories-used-by-the-IDE-to-store-settings-caches-plugins-and-logs
