Where has SVN support gone ?
Hi there. It's been a while since I haven't used IDEA, but now I'm back.
I can't enable Subversion support. There is no SVN option in CVS list. There used to be a Subversion Integration plugin which is missing. So, no more Subversion support ? That would be a a really bad thing.

Hello Katy,
Please ensure that you don't have an old version of the Subversion plugin
in your config/plugins directory.

No older plugin there, Subversion still missing from "Available" plugins list :(
I deleted the system dir, just to be sure everyhting is clean. Same situation.
subversion plugin is included in IDEA distribution, you don't have to fetch it from the plugin repository.
You'll find it in your IDEA installation folder/plugins
I just had a look into the plugin subdir from the installation directory and there was no svn-like subdir. I found a dir named svn4idea in the EAP distribution, copied it into the plugin dir and it works.
So, bottom line is that when some plugin (from the original distribution) is missing, it should appear in the Available Plugins list. This is not happening, I tested. The only chance to get it back (due to an accidental plugin uninstallation, maybe ... I don't know what did I do in the past to lose it) is to have a backup of the installation or to reinstall. Which is not good. It voids the very existence of the Available Plugin list.
Anyway, thanx for your IDEA :), it pointed me the solution to the problem.
I want to rate your reply, give you the 5 points for a helpful answer, but I cant' find out how. Darn, things did change here alot since I've been missing. Any help on this ?
what version of IDEA are you using ?
Although I'm not from Jetbrains I'm positive that the subversion plugin (located in ${IDEA.Home}\plugins\svn4idea) is included in IDEA 7, and I think it was also the case in IDEA 6
You can reinstall IDEA without conflicts with any downloaded plugins as those are located in$\.IntelliJIdea70\config\plugins
And you can keep your old install and install IDEA again somewhere else if you're afraid to lose something
Hello Katy,
Please reinstall IntelliJ IDEA. Subversion will not be shown in the "Available"
plugins list because it's a bundled plugin and is not stored in the plugin
manager.
