[PHP] Built in support for PHP in IntelliJ 8?

Hi,

How does relate the PHP plug-in (for IntelliJ 7 only, but can be seen in the plug-in manager for 8.0 too - the version from 6 June), to the PHP support in IntelliJ 8?

In IntelliJ 8 there seems to be some support for PHP (even it's own color settings), but it's not a plug-in.

Thank you,

Demetrios.

Hello dkyriakis,

It's a different development effort.

At the moment we don't plan to develop our internal PHP support beyond the
basic functionality that exists in IDEA 8 at the moment. It's possible that
at some moment we'll drop that and bundle the third-party plugin instead.

PHP plugin is actually not available for IDEA 8, the version from June 6th just does not have the ”until version“ attribute
