Installing plug-ins

Hi,
At office we have restricted access to internet and it is not possible to download plug-ins from Plug-in Manager. ( not even via proxy setting)
I have managed to download plug-in jar file but just wondering how / where to copy to this plug-in.
I tried placing jar file under c:/IDEA51/.IntellijIDEA50/system/plugin but IDEA did not recognise the plugin.

Could anybody please guide me how to install plugin without going through Plug-in Manager.

The correct path is ~/.IntellijIDEA50/config/plugins or IDEA_HOME/plugins.
