PluginUploader annoyance

A few days ago I had PluginUploader installed. After detecting, that it adds
the following lines to each iml-file:

]]>

I uninstalled this plugin and reverted back all the changed iml-files. But
IDEA 5.1 still adds these lines! How to tell IDEA not to add them?

You have to revert the files outside of IDEA when IDEA does not have the project loaded
because it will write the settings back to the file e.g. during shutdown.

Actually it's a good thing that it is doing that because otherwise plugin settings would
get lost in the moment a plugin is not available for some reason.

That's the default way of how module components persist their settings and it is not specific to the PluginUploader plugin.

The path to the last successfully uploaded archive is persisted for user convenience (on a per-module base since the PluginDevKit operates on a per-module base, too).

Wouldn't make it sense to just write this information for plug-in
modules? In one project we have 63 modules, none is related to plug-in
development. My coworkers do not develop plug-ins and hence there always
is some change in the iml-files.

Hello Alexey,

The IDEA project itself currently has about the same number of modules. Works
decently. :)

It is not that big, we just have scattered the source over that a large
number of modules. I'm not sure, whether this was a good choice.
