SQLPlugin jar not loading DB2Driver (COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver)

I can not seem to get the DB2 LUW jdbcdriver to work with SQLPlugin.
(COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver)

I have put the zip file (that I am using in my appserver successfully)
under
${user.home}/.IntelliJIdea50/config/plugins/ks-sql/lib

I have also tried making it a jar file.

In either case I am getting a red icon for DB2Driver and/or "no suitable
driver".

I have also tried using the "alternative location" for the drivers.

Maybe I am missing something fundamental here?

Is there some sort of debug log I can turn on to understand what is going
on?

If it matters I am using 5.1 build 4121.
