Are there any API for working with JSP pages and documents? If there is no such API, do you plan to open it in the future IntellijIDEA community releases?
You're welcome to work on any plugins that you like. Note that high-quality JSP support is a very significant undertaking; it would take multiple months to develop one.
JSP support is a part of Ultimate Edition (http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/features/editions_comparison_matrix.html). We don't plan to open source it.
