Anton works for YourKit and used to be an employee of JetBrains, and is announcing a totally relevant product to IDEA, and I'm sure has done so with their approval. I fail to see how this is spam. Clover posts in here, but no one calls that spam.

At least he's not trying to sell us his lime green car, or asking for our support in his quest to conquer Africa's diamond mines inherited from his rich uncle, who died suddenly of lukemia... or better yet... Viagra!

It just think it would be nice if the posting was constrained to one newsgroup, and didn't look like something my spam-filter would
immediately throw away if it were to enter my inbox.

Spam isn't defined by who is selling or what is sold.
