Is com.intellij.openapi.diff.impl.patch.PatchBuilder no longer available?

Is com.intellij.openapi.diff.impl.patch.PatchBuilder no longer available?
If not, will it be brought back?

I have a plugin I wrote (and embarrassingly lost the source) which requires it.
I've tried to find the api documentation online that I used to develop my plugin, but I've been unable to find it.  Links from google are no longer there.

If it was removed and won't return, I may re-write the plugin; what is the alternative to PatchBuilder, and where can I find the api documentation?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.

Hi Ben,

Just checked that no class with name 'com.intellij.openapi.diff.impl.patch.PatchBuilder' remains at IDEA sources.

Not sure about it's contract and API, so, can't provide direct link to its alternative. However, you can check file diff construction and highlighting on 'Local History' processing example:

  1. Get IDEA sources;
  2. Debug IDEA under IDEA;
  3. Make changes to particular source file;
  4. Set break point at the start of 'com.intellij.openapi.diff.impl.DiffPanelImpl.setDiffRequest()' method;
  5. Open 'Local History' for the changed file;

Hello Ben,

We've refactored the code so that the patch building code is less coupled
with the IDEA VCS internals. The new classes which perform the same function
are TextPatchBuilder and IdeaTextPatchBuilder.

Since the release of IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition, we're no longer publishing
the API documentation because the source code contains far more useful information;
it's better to grab the source and go with that.

available? If not, will it be brought back?
