Is the IDEA 8 release stable or just a beta??

I am developing a VCS plugin and wanted to ensure that it would work fine with the new version.
Basically I ask this question bcoz I downloaded it's plugin development kit (http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/index.html#kit) but that didn't have the usual files like:
index.html
allclasses-frame.html
overview-summary.html

As a result it was quite a pain to go through the API docs.

Also the plugin sources like that of subversion provided in the kit have dependencies on classess which are not there in the intellij idea8.0 API. This is quite strange as normally we see missing external classes but here the classes of openAPI are reported as not found (Yes, I have included the intellij SDK in the library). I could not find these classes in the documentation either.
So that really makes me wonder whether these plugins are not for the same version of intellij.

As an example the subversion plugin reports following errors:
cannot find symbol class ProjectLevelVcsManagerImpl
cannot find symbol class ChangeListManagerImpl
cannot find symbol class VcsConfigurationChangeListener
cannot find symbol class CommittedChangesTreeBrowser

When I checked the import paths then I found that svn plugin expects these to be inside intellij's openapi.

That's why I again ask, whether the just released version8.0 is a stable version or just a beta release.

Hello Kunjan,

Yes, IntelliJ IDEA 8.0 is a stable release.

Missing files in the JavaDoc comments are a known problem. Unfortunately
we've encountered a bug in the javadoc tool itself, and haven't yet set up
a proper workaround for it.

To add the missing classes, add idea.jar to the IDEA SDK classpath.

Thanks, that worked.

Actually I thought that when I selected the Idea 8.0 folder while creating IDEA SDK, it will include all the jars inside the lib folder. But, may be it's not that straight forward.
