Turning off transparency for popup menus

Oops - sorry - I meant to post this in the Community forum. Can somebody move it?

IntelliJ 7.0 Build 7361

Can someone please tell me how to turn off the transparency of popup
menus? I find this very distracting.

Furthermore, submenus are not transparent at all. This "feature" seems
half-implemented.

This is not a feature, but rather a bug which is fixed in version 7.0.1.
