ClearCase and 3.x

Is there any reason to use CommandLine mode instead of NativeMode when running IDEA on Windows?

Btw, should Refactor...Rename Package work?

No reason to not use native

Yes rename should work as long as you follow the instructions (Invoke the action Check In Project)

Okay, well I must be doing something wrong. For some reason I can move files, rename files and so on to my hearts content. But I get error when trying to rename a package (i.e. element missing) (almost like the parent of the new package name isn't being checked out).

Also, I can move files as long as it is not to a "new" package. If I move a class to a new package (i.e. directory), the Check In Project doesn't seem to function properly.

I thought this was a known problem so I didn't write down the details. I'll do that when I get back to work on Monday. Fwiw, this is using Dynamic Views and ClearcaseNative mode.

Make sure you turn on logging as instructed in the wiki page and send me the log.
Out of curiousity before you do that what version of IDEA and plugin are you using.
