ClearCase Plugin Question

In Aurora, you may have multiple modules in a single project, each of
them has its own IML file.

I would like to have some modules under ClearCase source control and others
not within the same project.

It would be great if the plugin could be sensitive to this, so for example
when adding files to non-source controlled modules it won't show these files
when doing a CTRL K to check in the project.

The original IntelliJ CVS integration worked like this. You could have part
of your project under CVS and part not. And it was smart enough to know
which changes needed to be communicated to CVS and which did not.

Thanks,

Ted Hill

When JetBrains finish the multi-module support (right now we only have one, the Main Module), my understanding is that plugins will be able to register their configuration at the module level (the iml file like you said but there will be one iml file per module). At that point it is my intention to migrate the clearcase plugin configuration from project based to module based.
It will allow to have some modules under clearcase and some others not under clearcase. If I am not mistaken you could even have a project with modules controlled by different VCSes.

Does that sound like it would meet your requirement?

BTW whenever I will finally release the new version (sorry guys for the delay) you will be able to use its Excludes from VCS feature similar to the new CVS ignore feature (but not as well integrated ;)

Yes, this sounds like exactly what we will need.

Thank you very much for your work on this plugin,
