Issues with logging

I'm currently trying to write a simple action plugin based on Piraya's tutorial and for that I'm using the latest version of Idea. This plugin should generate code based on AndroMDA MDA code generator.

Now I have 2 issues with the Logger class.

In my action class, actionPerformed() is implemented as follows:

In WriteActionRunner:

And in AndroMDACodeGenerator:

PROBLEM 1: the package name of my class is truncated in the log message, which makes it difficult to use the filtering capabilities:

2006-12-22 15:41:03,539 INFO - ndroid.idea.GenerateCodeAction - Generate Code action triggered

PROBLEM 2: not message is logged for the log statement inside AndroMDACodeGenerator.

Are those known bugs of the Logger class or is it some mistake I made?

Hello Sebastien,

PROBLEM 1: the package name of my class is truncated in the log
message, which makes it difficult to use the filtering capabilities:

ndroid.idea.GenerateCodeAction - Generate Code action triggered

The format of the log message is defined by the log.xml file in the bin subdirectory
of your installation directory. The default format does truncate the class
name, which is by design. You can modify the file to specify a different
template which will not truncate the class name.
