I don't think anyone is actively working on one, I inquired about this a few
months ago. I'm up for writing one.

Is anyone working on this? If not, would anyone be interested in helping

me

with one?

Okay, I guess we'll learn as we go. Let's give it a couple days to see if
anyone else want to help. What do you think about starting a SourceForge
project?

Okay, I've submitted a request to SourceForge for a new project. It will be
a couple days before it is up. Anyone interested in working on the project
please send an email to:
nospam_brad.lane@pearson.com

So far these people have shown interest:

Forgot to mention: Please put something like "PVCS plugin" in the subject
line or I may delete the email before reading it.

SourceForge site: http://pvcsplugin4idea.sourceforge.net/
It may take a day or so for the DNS to be activated

Brad,

Has this been activated yet? I can't seem to resolve the address. Email me
directly at N_O__SP_A_M_JohnD@DelWare.com since I don't always get to
newsgroups daily.

John

I you all are interested I wrote a series of External tool entries for the command line version of PVCS. We use that instead of attaching to the PVCS integration DLL's as they are REAL SLOW over a vpn connection. If you are interested just post here and I'll upload my tools/_.xml file. They are hardcoded to our archive directory tree but easily modified.

That may be helpful. I already have some custom ant tasks that call pcli
that I am modeling the plugin after. But your external tools might also be
helpful. Thanks for offering them!

Here they are. Note that you will have to point each entry to your archive location.

That would so cool if you put one together... I will be your Alpha or Beta for it.

We are in the process of developing it now. We have a very rough version
that works for simple get/put/lock/unlock. We're not going to release this
version as we are working on changing the way it interacts with pvcs. But,
if you would like to try it anyway, I can send you the jar.
DISCLAIMER: It is very picky right now about file locations, and certain
options. So, if you try to break it, you most definitely will. And, it has
only been tested on build 695
