Dash, I have a newer version of the PerfDiffPlugin with ability to call
external Diff that would allow to edit the file(s) (e.g. copy modified
sections
from one file to another). And the change is reflected back to the editor.

It's still very provisional but if you are interested, I can send the
sources to you
(along with some notes). I'm sorry, I don't have enough time to finish it.

r.

few bugfixes and a couple of new actions.

I had a problem with the check out function of the plugin not working correctly. It seems
that there is a problem with Runtime.exec( String[] cmd, String[] envp ) on my set up. If
you pass an environment array that is null, the exec does not work properly.

I removed the environment from the exec() call and used Runtime.exec( String[] cmd ) and
all now seems to work correctly. This is in the P4Package code so it's not directly
related to the plugin code, but for those who can't get it to work... there is a work around.

My set up is:

WinXP Pro SP1, Java 1.4.1 and Idea 681.
