JsHtmlBridge: Support for custom JSP tags?

Hi,

would it be possible to have support for embedded JavaScript in
custom tags inside JSP files, like what JsHtmlBridge does for HTML?

Imagine some JSP framework that uses server-side JavaScript inside a
custom tag. Could an OpenAPI-based bridge-plugin be developed that
enables JS support inside a specific custom tag and provides information
about the context, i.e. implicit variables and functions for error high-
lighting and completion?

Is this something the current or planned API is already capable of or
should I file a request for that?

Any comment on this? Something like "Yes, it's possible",
"No it is/will not be possible" or even "Get Lost" would
suffice.

Thanks,
Sascha

Neither,
It's possible but not by means of OpenAPI unfortunately. JsHtmlBridge is
a cheater right now. Yes we do plan to expose this API in Irida.
Sorry for late answer, Sascha.

Yep you said that elsewhere, but I wasn't sure if this would cover just
the case of HTML + ]]> tag then or if it's gonna be much more flexible.
Of course I should have known that you want to do it right :)
There's no hurry for this, but would be great to have at some point.

Sorry for late answer, Sascha.

No prob, I didn't want to sound demanding. It's tough to try to get attention
in a case you think you've been overlooked without sounding rude :-/

Those "anybody here" reminders do actually help alot. Do don't worry about
that.
