One assumes Debabrata noticed it was missing cause he does in fact use it :)

It'd be a bit strange to use this method from vcs open api... For what
purpose? BTW the more correct way is to use VcsHistoryProvider (if it's
implemented)

I was using it from many of my actions. However its not a big change as I
can always cast the abstractVcs to my vcs and use the same method.

I raised this question yesterday, because I thought that method was called
somehow and was replaced by some other call back. So I wanted to know what
that was, before releasing the plugin to users.
