Auto-update finds conflicts
Choosing the Update and Restart option results in the following dialog. Is this expected? I've never seen anything like it before so I wanted to verify everythign is ok before proceeding.
I'm moving from 14.0.0 (build 139.144) to 14 RC2.0.0 (build 139.222).

Yea same thing (or at least quite similar since I'm not being burdened to check all the eror files on your list) happens to me too. I'm guessing there's something wrong going on (obviously) the part.
I didn't get the part "Please select desired solutions from the Solution column and press proceed." part either since you can't choose anything from there except the "ignore" choice which is previously selected and the only thing to select there!
and btw I'm not using mac like you, I'm on Win 8.1.
Same issue here, on win7. I'll just a wait a while before updating.
Me too, on OSX 10.10.
My first wild guess would be a daylight saving TZ thing.
I guess I will do a fresh download & install.

The patcher only works for a clean install of 139.144 not for a version which was previously patched to 139.144.
Gues we'll have to redownload :)
Wish someone official could confirm that we should re-download and they can't solve this problem from their side :)
Now they fixed it. I mean the update prompts you to download the new version from the site and run the setup.
