No longer opens on OS X

I've applied a few updates from Apple over the last few days, including OS X 10.9.5 one for XCode and now IDEA 14 will no longer open, if I click the dock icon it bounces once then immedaitely exits.

Console message:
20/09/14 05:55:24,138 com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[267]: (com.jetbrains.intellij.134320[996]) Exited with code: 1

IDEA 13 still opens fine.

If you updated to the latest EAP (138.2210), then this is because of a bug in the EAP.
Issue IDEA-130005 describes the problem, and has a workaround.
