IDEA 15, OS X, Floating Windows Behavior is Poor Follow
Floating windows are behaving very poorly on OS X with a dual monitor system. Whenever "anything" happens in the IDE (e.g. hit a break point, do a search, etc.) then any floating windows are repositioned over the main window. They won't "stick" where they were (on a different monitor in my case) -- the are moved to within the main window. I typically set Find and Debug windows to float and move them to a different monitor, but this is pointless with 15. This problem does not occur with IDEA 14, only with 15.0 and 15.0.1 (Ultimate). Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a solution?

have this problem too
I have the same problem.
It did not occur in Intellij 14.
I found there is an open bug for this: IDEA-116096
Ok thanks for the reported bug.
I hope it ill be fixed soon but it seems quite hard. It's very annoying so i stay on IntelliJ 14 for now.
For information, disable the settings screens have distinct spaces in Mission control settings (and reboot) seems to fix the problem.
But it's just a workaround.
