Has anyone else noticed this in the latest version of IntelliJ (14.1.5)? I did update it at roughly the same time as I updated to OS X El Capitan, so I'm not 100% sure what's causing the slowness.
I feel like my project used to compile in 2-3 seconds each and every time, but now even after making the tiniest of changes, it can take up to 10 seconds. (If I've changed nothing, it's pretty snappy, I'm assuming because it's cached.)
I've tried rolling back my project in GIT to long before I noticed the slowness, and it still compiles at the same speed. I have plenty of SSD hard drive space (40 gigs) and a little over 2 of my 8 gigs of RAM are unused. My computer is a late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina, so it's generally pretty snappy with most of my development stuff.
Anyone have any ideas for things I could try to speed up the compile time?
