Flash Remote Debug Make removeal

This is in reference to my original post here, http://devnet.jetbrains.net/thread/434240?tstart=0

The more i have thought about this the more concerned I am. Removing the ability to make modules and use the Flash Remote Debug actually will really hurt my workflow. I current use intelliJ to build javascript based scripts for After effects. The front end of these scripts is in Flash. Currently I use intelliJ to make the flash module then launch a ANT script to run the after effects script. I still need a build configuration that can make a module and then run an ANT task, is this not possible anymore?!

For now you can Make the whole Project (Ctrl+F9) and then launch remote flash run config with 'ant' before run task. Please open a request to return 'Make before launch' check box.

This doesnt really need to be flash specific. Is there simply a way, through run configs, to make a module (along with dependencies and such), then perform an ant target?

If not I did open a request, i think in the proper spot.  http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-81745

All run configs have 'Run ant task before launch' option, but not all have 'Make before launch' option. Those that have both - behave exactly as you want. So your question only relates to 'Remote Flash debug' run configuration. At the moment we've decided not to add 'Make before launch' option for Flash remotу debug run config because it is switched on by default, whereas we think that 95% of use cases users don't need it to be switched on but will forget to switch it off. We'll continie to collect feedback on the issue and will probably do some improvements that will simplify your workfolw.

Fair enough I can understand this is a very small use case. Once we have ANE support in intelliJ I will not need this, and i'm sure i can find a work around for my After Effects scripts workflow, even if i have to compile my flash modules with ANT. Any chance you have a estimate on Adobe AIR ANE support?

thanks

ANE support is of high priority for us. Probably one of 11.1.x update releases.
