Android DDMS integration

I cannot seem to find a way to get DDMS running alongside IntelliJ as they conflict on some port.  I have tried changing ports in the DDMS prefs but and doing that allows DDMS to run and I can see my device, but I can't do anything from there.  Is there a way to do this?  If not is it in your plans to integrate DDMS into IntelliJ?
