Node.js support

What are the plans for supporting Node.js development?

Just handling a few node extensions to Javascript/V8 such as require would go a long way.

I belive that Node is currently so "new" that no IDE seems to support it yet, so I'm hoping IntelliJ and/or WebStorm could be the first.

Sure, we will have initial NodeJS support plugin to the time of JSConf.eu :)

Lots of cool things are being announced and shared at JSConf.eu this weekend.  Who else is hoping support for Node in the IDE will be announced soon?

Any update on this?  Googling doesn't lead me to any announcements you made at jsconf.eu on this front.  I wanted to work on a plugin to add require/module support for node.js but don't want to duplicate your efforts if its will be available soon.

There was conference scheduling conflict in our participation in JSConf.eu so there was no anouncement but stay tuned.
We are committed to support Node.js in WebStorm 2.0 and will publish initial version of plugin shortly.

Thanks for the update!  I'll start using the Webstorm EAP releases now to get ready for Node plugin release.

BTW, here's the Node project I've been working on: http://github.com/dylang/opowerjobs.  Feel free to fork it and use for your own purposes.

I've added a ticket to the public repo so we can see when Node support is added.

The plugin works well. The debug support is awesome. Great work - thank you for that.
BTW: I'm using it in WebStorm 2.1 on Linux Mint 10 and node v0.4.12 and haven't tested other versions/environments.
