Already defined file type interfering with AspectJ support plugin

Hi,

I had defined a file type for AspectJ with the registered pattern *.aj. I had configured most of the keywords there to have some coloring when looking at aspectj files. It seems I can't get rid of the file type. I had AspectJ Support plugin 0.2. I now completely removed the AspectJ support plugin, removed the file type, then installed AspectJ Support plugin 0.3, but still this file type returns in the options (and it is editable, unlike the Java sources file type for example).

Any way around this?

regards,

Wim

For info: I now removed the aspecj support plugin again, and I can't seem to remove the file type. If I remove it, it is back after restarting IntelliJ. Please help on how to get rid of it.

Hello Wim,

please make sure that AspectJ Support 0.3 is enabled. I've checked your steps
and custom .aj was replaced with one outofbox

Thank you

Thanks for taking the time Anna. I re-installed the plugin again, and now it seems to have worked fine indeed. Don't know why, but I am glad it works now.
