Diff - Jump To Next Type Of Diff

There are several types of diff:

  • Changed
  • Added
  • Missing
  • Whitespace
  • Non displayable chars
  • etc etc


Is it possible when using the diff in IDEA to jump to the next type of diff?
I have been do a lot of mergin recently of some quite big XMLs and most of the time (in this set anyway) I have only been interested in the Added/Missing types.
It would be useful to be able to jump to the next "Added" diff and skip over all the "Changed" diffs in between.

There is no such feature at the moment. You can file a feature request in
YouTrack.

And a related issue to have the option to turn of validation when doing a diff so that you can see the diffs in the sidebar clearer.
