Hi,
Does anybody have problems with Search Everywhere (Double shift) on Ubuntu? Worked in 13, in 14 dialog appears but input field ins't focused. When I try with mouse to put caret there it disappears. Bug ?

Hi Eugene, i also have this Problem in Ubuntu. After double shift, the focus is lost. Klicking on the magnifier button works for me, but also slows me down as I have to use the mouse.
Hey Eugene,
I am seeing the same problem with focus being lost and the window closes when trying to click on it.

Description: Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS
Release: 12.04
Codename: precise
Looks like latest update (14.0.0.1) fixes the probelm :)
14.0.1 didn't change anything for me. Also, there's no word about this issue in the release notes: http://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/IDEADEV/IntelliJ+IDEA+14+139.225.3+Release+Notes
Hi David,
Could you please share name and version of your Window Manager? Last release contains a fix for gnome 3.14. Also, do you have option "mouse follows mouse" enabled?
I get the same issue with the 14.0.2
echo $XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP
Unity
echo $GDMSESSION
ubuntu-2d
using ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Cannot reproduce the problem under Ubuntu 16.04 and IDEA 2016.3
