Master Password Database IntelliJ and RubyMine Unexpected Behavior

Just started using IntelliJ.
I am managing code via Git/GitHub.
When doing a push to GitHub, IntelliJ prompts for my Master Password for the Password Database.
My, initial impression was to try my existing RubyMine Master Password, which doesn't work.
Then, I clicked reset and from the best of my recollection, IntelliJ informed me that it was going to reset the existing Master Password database.
Whoa! Not so fast.
Instead of resetting the Master Password database in IntelliJ I thought I would try RubyMine, and make sure it was still ok.
I openend up RubyMine and it was fine.
In RubyMine I was able to successfully authenticate with my Master Password and access the Password Database and interact with GitHub via RubyMine.
I moved back to IntelliJ and tried interacting with GitHub and now it's working.
IntelliJ still initially prompts for the Master Password for the Password Database but after failure github interactions work as long as I was authenticated by RubyMine first.

Does IntelliJ and RubyMine share the same Password Database?

OS X 10.10.1 (14B25)
RubyMine 7.0.1
IntelliJ  14.0.2
