Idea #9920 won't start on Snow Leopard

I need some help here, Idea won't go further than the splash screen on
Snow Leopard.
Just updated OsX thinking it would work seamlessly, according to others' post.

Any idea where I can look for the problem? I can't find any log
indicating what's going on :(

idea.log doesn't seem to give useful information, even in debug mode.
I now can see Idea's main windows appearing but the splash screen doesn't dissapear and it keeps like that for ever, writing always more logs.

Most of the logs are of the type:

Is that regular? Why would FileWatcher try to watch other drives TimeMachine folders?
Also when is the threadDumps triggered? This takes up hundreds of megs of space. Is that on by default or is it precisely beacuse there's problems with some threads?

thanks

I'm facing the error again with maia #10762. #10666 works fine, but the latest release would never start or do anything beyond displaying splahscreen. It doesn't looks unresponsive or anything, it just own't go further and do nothing.

For info, I solved the problem with #9920 by deleting the plugins folder.

In my case:
<key>idea.plugins.path</key>
<string>~/Library/Application Support/IntelliJIDEA80/</string>
