Significant regression in flex support in 9825

Hi.

In build 9825 [1], I'm experiencing immediate, multiple NPEs on opening of flex probject.  Syntax checking works for a bit, and then more errors accumulate until actionscript files no longer syntax check (no highlighting, no assist, transparent square in upper right).

I submitted a bunch of stack traces on Friday afternoon (US Pacific); there must have been at least a half dozen different traces.

It's too bad, because for the time that it actually works, it seems like it's getting a lot faster/better.

Thanks so much for your work on flex support, but it seems we've still got some way to go with this.

Best,

-c

[1] and only in 9825, previous builds didn't show these errors on the same source files, and I've been tracking Diana weekly.

Should I install 8.1.1 and the plugin updates from the JIRA ticket on top?

Thanks,
Peter

Thanks Maxim, with the above jars, I'm no longer seeing exceptions.  Also, it's much faster.

However, I am seeing a huge amount of logging output from the flex debugger.  I'll post a separate bug about that.

Thanks a bunch,

Unfortunately, while the exceptions have gone away, idea is no longer recognizing undefined types/variables in actionscript code.  When an undefined class/variable is used, no popup or red highlighting is presented.

Thanks,

I am using the official 8.1.1 build (#9833) and the FlexSupport/JavaScriptLanguage patches for OS-X 10.5.6 - no problems as mentioned by Christopher (stack traces, unrecognized variables, large log files).

Regards,
Peter

Clearing the idea caches directory fixed the problem with unrecognized variables.

Thanks a bunch for this, Maxim, it's getting really good!
