Flex debugger hangs

When trying to debug flex/flash apps using Diana 9779, I get constant SIOB errors and then the debugged application (I've tried both Firefox and Safari) hangs forever.  I've seen  http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEADEV-35511.  It's not fixed in 9779.  This happens on the first breakpoint hit.  In earlier versions, I might be able to get one or two breakpoints to work before the hang.  In recent Diana builds, it dies on the first breakpoint.

This makes the flex debugger basically useless.

Has anyone had any luck with this?  Should I try the version 10 debug player?  (I'm currently using Flash MAC 9,0,159,0)

Thanks a bunch!

Thank you for the information, (http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEADEV-35819) fixed in next eap build (9789+)

I am suffering from the same problem, please release a new EAP 8.1.1 quickly - I do not care too much for http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEADEV-35774 (the last open issue for next EAP) being fixed :-)

Regards,
Peter

9794 is better!  It doesn't hang.  I can look at variable values.

However, it also has some trouble parsing the stack information.  See below.

Should I open a separate bug for this?

Thanks a bunch!

Yes, please
Btw, previous flex debugger hangs were just about parsing such stack trace , I assume you have compiled swfs with debug info
