How about couple of beers  that should cheer you up :)

I am personally fine with current colors. I prefer quiet palette - easier
for eyes

Personally, I think the grey/black colors are sort of depressing. I know
it's a non-issue, but it really has some effect on me, how stupid it may
sound. As a matter of fact, I'm currently hacking up the jars to get the
7.0 picture back in 8.0, to see if I can get the more colorful images
back. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but the startup logo, and
the 'banner' on top (and the images in the wizard) should (IMO) really get
their colorful look back.

Check. Nice to hear a different opinion. I was wondering how other people 
felt about it, so this brings the score to 1-1 ;)
