yellow tooltip over editor tab: how to turn it off?

Is there a way to turn off the yellow tooltip over an editor tab that shows the full path of the file?

No, but you can adjust tooltip initial delay in Settings -> Appearance

Thanks for the reply.

In Settings > Appearance, are you referring to the Transparency section?  I don't see anything that says "tooltip", and manipulating the Transparency delay doesn't seem to affect the yellow tooltip over an editor tab.

I'm using Idea latest production release 12.0.4 on OSX 10.8.3

Sorry, it seems to be available in 12.1

Ok. Can you enter a feature request for turning off the tooltips?  Since the path of the selected editor tab is evident for me by using the "breadcrumbs" in the upper left of Idea, the yellow tooltip info seems redundant to me, and the long path obscures other tabs. Thus, I have to wait for the tooltip to go away in order to select a tab behind the tooltip.

Tooltips are be useful for not-selected tabs even if "breadcrumbs" is on.

Hello. Has feature request ticket been opened for this? For me tooltip over editor tab is not needed, it's even annoying to be honest. Alternatively it could be shown when mouse hover with shift key pressed on, or something similar. Anyway I'd like to have option to turn it off completely. Would that be possible?
