7269 Hangs when opening large xml file

Hello Omair-Inam Abdul-Matin,

I opened up one of the large xml files we have and now the intellij
window has stopped responding...

I've attached a thread dump... Let me know if I should add a JIRA

Please do. This is indeed a deadlock.
