Some keyboard accelerators for menu items have disappeared.. why?

I installed 12.1.1 ultimate last week and found out another menu accelerator has disappeared.

Code | Generate.    It used to be Alt-C-G.   Now that
also disappeared.   I am left with Alt-Insert.  Well that key combination is awkward on my keyboard - and I use that feature VERY often.  It is slowing me down.
Another one (that disappeared in 12.0):     Project structure:  It used to be Alt-F-J   (File | ProJect  Settings)  .  Now it's disappeared. That is unless you want to use the crazy Ctl-Alt-Shift-S.  I do not  do 4 key combinations..

In general:

(a) pay attention to stop losing the keyboard shortcuts (is this an  oversight - you are not paying attention?)
(a) would you please look into reinstating the ones that were "lost"  .  Eg. for Code |Generate, if you don't want to do Alt-c-g  then maybe Alt-c-e.  Point is, i don't care which one, just provide one.

Thanks!

Hi Stephen,

Checked the code and the reason is that the mentioned mnemonics were used more than once (IDEA-71247, IDEA-90876).

The only workaround I see for now is to map that actions to custom shortcuts at your environment, sorry.

Hi Denis,
Alt-C-G has no other mnemonic so that is not correct.

ALso, i used to use Alt-J (twice) to get to project structure (the first one is close project..)  and that also worked fine.

My frustration here is that working functionality was removed from IJ.

Hi Stephen,

Alt-C-G - please check the screenshot from IDEA-71247 - menu items which use 'G' mnemonic are highlighted there.

I understand your concern but that was a right decision to remove duplicate mnemonics (other actions didn't work because of that). It might be worth to assign other mnemonics for the menu items though.

Btw, do you know you can create your custom action lists? It seems that that would indeed cover your use-case.

Keyboard mappings in IntelliJ are fully customizable. Just assign the keyboard mappings to your liking. It isn't that big of a deal.
