Accent Characters on Editor

Answered

Hi,

I'm having problems when I try to type "ção". In Editor, IntelliJ puts "çao".

Same occurs with à >> a

Anyone has the same problem?

Solutions?

export XMODIFIERS="" is the command to set environment variable. Just type that into terminal.

Here is the bug request regarding that: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-59679

No ideas on the fly.

Please create a bug request at YouTrack: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/newIssue?project=IDEA with logs folder attached.

A screencast would also help to understand the issue.

Thank you.
