IDEA 12.0.4 (123.169) - Proxy/subversion password not being reset/forgotten

Hi,

Not sure where the issue is - but does seem to relate to IDEA.

My AD password changed this week but when I have IDEA running it seems to be trying my old password and thus locking my account up.

If I dont run IDEA, the account does not get locked up - but soon after starting IDEA it does get locked.

I have unchecked the proxy settings and I have not been checking the remember svn password (which is also AD based).

I only installed IDEA 12 this week - so not sure if it ever worked, was ok with IDEA 11.1.2.  I have just switched back and that seems to be ok...

Is this a known problem?

I see this one listed, which might relate to this...

I have not tried the suggested solutions yet...

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for spotting that!

Asked our svn developer to check.

Thanks - downloading the 12.1 rc (129.111) to see if that works any better :) - I am addicted the darcula theme ...

129.111 seems to be working ok - can commit to svn and have downloaded the ruby plugin ok.

Although the fact that I uninstalled 12.04, clearing caches/all, might be the reason its working :)

Cheers,
Chris

Chris, haven't heard about the issue like that..
If "use IDEA proxy" is unchecked, it should not be used. You had exactly "no proxy" setting or what was the situation? Could it be like proxy settings were passed with JVM properties or from somewhere else, and it just tried to go through proxy without credentials?

Hi Irina,

I previously had the proxy setting selected, but after a few problems with account getting locked out, I then disabled it.

I was not passing them via JVM properties - only via the IDEA UI.

Thanks,
Chris
