How can I configure local changes to not show directories?

In the latest Selena builds, the local changes window shows a list of unversioned directories, even when there are no files in those directories.

How can I configure this to only show unversioned files?

(FWIW, I'm running IntelliJ Selena under 1.6.0_01.)
